In order to get the real-time sync, you have to check the Realtime sync box under Special options. Once you have done this, you can now make some changes and then do another sync to make sure it’s working the way you want. Go ahead and click the Synchronize button to complete one sync. If you are confused, make sure to read the TXT file that is located in the folder where the application was unzipped. There are several more options, which are self-explanatory. This is useful, if you want to keep several versions of the changes in case you didn’t mean to delete something or you want to see previous versions of a document, etc. I also recommend checking Create folder if not exists so that when you create a new folder in one folder, it will automatically create the same folder in the other synced folder.Īnother important option is Backup Changes. This will automatically enable the Copy only newer files box too. To start, if you want to keep changes synced between both folders, you should check Bidirectional synchronization. However, before we perform any sync, let’s configure the options. According to the documentation, you should perform a normal sync first before you enable real-time syncing. By default, syncing will only work when you click on the Synchronize button. Now that we have our two folders selected, we can start configuring the options. If you want everything synced, then don’t worry about the filter button. Once selected, you can click on the Filter button if you want to exclude certain types of files or to exclude subfolders. You’ll now see two buttons appear at the right: Filter and Browse.Ĭlick the Browse button and choose your first folder. We need to configure those first.Ĭheck the box for Sources and then press Enter. When you first run the application, you’ll see two boxes at the top for source and destination. Once you download the ZIP file, go ahead and extract all the files and then run the application file. Thankfully, the software is clean and doesn’t contain any junkware, malware, ads, etc. Scroll down past that and past Dshutdown and you’ll see Dsynchronize.Īs previously noted, it’s a pretty bad looking website. Dsynchronizeĭsynchronize is a freeware program written by some developer in Poland whose website looks like it is from the 1990’s! However, don’t judge a book by its cover because the programs he writes are excellent.įirstly, when you visit the above link, you have to scroll down a bit to get to the correct program. At first I thought I was on the wrong website because I kept reading about his first program called Dspeech. This is useful for backup purposes or if you are working in a team and want to avoid a cloud service like Dropbox or Google Drive. In this article, I’m going to write about a freeware program that you can use to setup real time syncing between two folders stored in different locations.

The R8's seven-speed dual-clutch automatic isn't the smoothest gearbox. The R8's V-10 engine is offered in two strengths, both potent enough to shake your eardrums with their otherworldly exhalations. On the other hand, rolling up to the next Cars and Coffee event with the ultimate R8 may feel just a bit more awesome. On the one hand, the 562-hp V-10 provides incredible acceleration and the same bellowing wail as the 602-hp car. Choosing between the standard and Performance models is a tougher decision. After all, with the top down, passersby will be able to get a better look at the lucky dog behind the wheel. If this particular cross-section of performance and luxury appeals to you, now’s the time to act, as this is the final year for Audi’s V-10–powered showpiece.įor some added flash, we'd suggest going with the Spyder. The interior is comfortable for both driver and passenger, and the R8 would make a fine touring car if it weren’t for a puny cargo area that fits only one carry-on suitcase. Its snug, two-seat cabin is lined with high-end materials and features a minimalist design that forgoes the usual center-mounted infotainment display in favor of a digital gauge display that serves both purposes. What the R8 offers instead is a level of refinement that’s more in line with the rest of the Audi lineup. The Audi is less hardcore than the Lambo, though, less intense on a twisty road or racetrack. The R8 shares its underpinnings and its powertrain-a mighty V-10 and seven-speed automatic-with the wild Lamborghini Huracán. It offers a reasonably easy-going ride along with its breakneck acceleration. Few supercars actually get driven daily, but the 2023 Audi R8 seems designed for such a task. Note: Make sure to drip the eliquid along the wall of the tank, not into the central airflow tube. Holding the Aero Tank upside-down and at a slight angle, place the dripper of your bottle so that you can drip your eliquid into the tank. Next, grab a bottle of your chosen eliquid. Next, remove one of the atomizer heads from the tray and, holding it with the long side up and the short side down, screw it snugly into the base. Set the tank itself down on a clean, level surface. Next, turn the tank upside-down and unscrew the base of the tank. Once you’ve unboxed your new Aero Tank and removed the device from the gray plastic tray, you’ll want to remove the rubber condom from the mouthpiece. However, for those of you who are considering the Aero Tank as your first bottom coil clearomizer, I’m happy to walk you through this quick and easy process. If you’re already familiar with setting up a Protank or EVOD, there’s no reason you can’t skip right past this section. Setting up the Aero Tank should be familiar to anyone who has already done so with another bottom-coil clearomizer. It’s a solid, substantial piece of kit that should last you a good, long time. Overall, build quality is excellent on the Aero Tank. We’ll get to how that works out, performance-wise, shortly, but as far as build quality is concerned, the airflow adjustment ring was actually the component that impressed me least with its feel it felt light to the point of flimsiness, and it’s a fortunate thing that it’s integrated so well into the overall design, because I could imagine it failing in fairly short order otherwise. By rotating a knurled ring at the base of the Aero tank, the user can select a tight draw or a looser, more airy draw. I believe I can chalk the size difference up to the breakout feature on the Aero Tank and the inspiration for its name: Airflow control. Comparing the Aero Tank to a Protank II, I discover that the Aero Tank appears to be head and shoulders taller than the Protank, and its stainless steel parts give the appearance of being a fair bit beefier, although they have the same 2.5ml capacity. But that’s really where the visual similarity to its older cousin ends. The materials used - according to the description on the box, and I have no reason to doubt it - are stainless steel and pyrex glass, in keeping with the Protank line. I love that Kanger is thoughtful enough to provide this accessory with, I would have to guess, just about every full size clearomizer they sell I have to admit to worrying, though, that some future civilization is going to find the remnants of our own one day and conclude that Kanger beauty rings were our main form of currency… The first thing you’ll discover, on unboxing the Aero Tank, is a gray plastic tray housing the clearomizer itself along with two coil heads and the ubiquitous Kanger beauty ring. The Kanger Aero Tank, on the other hand, is the Comeback Kid of the Kanger lineup. Simply stated, Kanger had become a benchwarmer in my eyes, relegated to the dugout and called into rotation only when the big boys were played out and in need of a rest. The Protank II upped the game modestly but isn’t exactly a standout performer, either. The Protank Mini was more of the same, but with less eliquid capacity. The original Protank disappointed me with its airy draw, weak flavor, and less than satisfying throat hit. I have a history with the Protank, Protank II, and Mini Protank. Because what’s inside is so unlike the storied but underwhelming Protank it isn’t even funny. Sitting here looking at that box now, however, I think of it as camouflage. The nervousness didn’t abate much when I saw the packaging: the same understated black box with its silver accents and plain, no-nonsense description of t contents had me thinking of the Protank series. This afternoon, I’ve taken the wraps off something I’ve been looking forward to with a healthy mixture of anticipation and nervousness. Mainly for consuming multimedia, social networks, and sometimes for work (documents, spreadsheets, presentations, etc.). How are you using your iPad on a daily basis? I have an iPad Air (first-gen) 16GB in Space Gray and an iPad Mini (third-gen) 64GB in White/Silver. I also couldn’t live without Flipboard/Digg for news and Stocks to follow the stock market. Good question! I use iCloud Drive for keeping my files with me, Enpass to remember all my passwords, Todoist for tasks, and Messages and Telegram for messaging. The other apps I use for news are Flipboard and Digg. For reading news, I love Instapaper, but the sync is so slow that I’m using Pocket now. On the iPhone, I use Messages, Pages, Todoist, Notes, Enpass, Reminders, and social networks ( LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook). I love simplicity, and the white wallpaper is perfect for me! What apps do you use the most, and why? For my laptop replacement, a 12″ Macbook” in space gray. If I was to buy an iMac now I would opt for a 27-inch iMac with Retina 5K display, 1TB Fusion Drive, and 3.2GHz Processor. How would your ideal setup look and function? It is fantastic and cross-platform, which is very important for my work. At the moment, I’m testing Todoist, which is a fantastic example of design, behaviour, UX/UI, etc. I’ve used several apps for tasks like Swipes, Things, 2Do, and Wunderlist, but I always return to Reminders. At first, Evernote was fantastic, but the app has not evolved as I would like and I’ve decided to change. I’ve been using Evernote three years as a premium customer, but in the last year I’ve moved to Notes and Reminders instead. I’ve used Adobe Suite in the past, but I don’t like the subscription method and Affinity Designer and Photo both work better for me. I use Pixelmator and Graphic when I begin a project on the iPad or iPhone and don’t have my Macbook Air with me. As a designer I use Affinity Designer, Affinity Photo, Pixelmator, Sparkle, Graphic, and Brackets, but I mostly use the Affinity apps and Brackets for Design and coding. In my main job I use Pages, Numbers, Keynote and Microsoft Office for making presentations, documents, and spreadsheets. What software do you use and for what do you use it? I’m currently switching between official macOS Sierra wallpapers and flat colors. I’ve tried several wallpapers ( Material Design, Unsplash), but at the end I always return to the Apple Wallpapers. When I decide to update my Macbook Air it might be a chance to try the iPad Pro 12”, but I also prefer the new 12″ Macbook. iPad lacks some things I need (Affinity Designer, Affinity Photo, USB, keyboard), but with the new iPad Pro 12” I think the rules are changing. I’ve tried to replace the laptop with an iPad Air (two years ago), but it wasn’t possible for me. I love this size when I’m away from home because it’s small but powerful (for my use), and it is so easy to carry on. I love it so much and I’m very unhappy that Apple discontinued this device. I have an iMac (2014) 2.7 GHz Intel Core i5 with 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 and I love it! I previously had an iMac 17” from 2006, which I loved (and still works as Device for web and Skype at my wife’s parents’ house). “Be Young, Be foolish, Be Happy” is my motto. I take advantage of every minute of the day - that’s my formula. I love both jobs in spite of being very different. I am also a freelance graphic and web designer at Jota Torcida. I am a commercial technician at an Insurance Company. I’m Spanish, and I live in the city of Alcala de Henares with my wife. Blood has a seemingly impossible job: It must flow continuously and smoothly throughout your body for an entire lifetime, but quickly shut off to prevent spills when you get a cut or injury.īlood clots are healthy and lifesaving when they stop bleeding. But they can also form when they aren't needed and cause a heart attack, stroke, or other serious medical problems. The life cycle of a normal blood clot depends on a series of chemical interactions.ġ. It features an intuitive timeline editor, WYSIWYG canvas, and a robust scripting interface. Tiny bits in your blood called platelets get "turned on" by triggers released when a blood vessel is damaged. Kite is a native animation and prototyping design tool for the Mac. They stick to the walls in the area and each other, changing shape to form a plug that fills in the broken part to stop blood from leaking out. When activated, platelets also release chemicals to attract more platelets and other cells, and to set off the next step.Ģ. Proteins in your blood called clotting factors signal each other to cause a rapid chain reaction. It ends with a dissolved substance in your blood turning into long strands of fibrin. These get tangled up with the platelets in the plug to create a net that traps even more platelets and cells. The clot becomes much tougher and more durable.ģ. Other proteins offset extra clotting factor proteins so the clot doesn't spread farther than it needs to.Ĥ. As the damaged tissue heals, you don't need the clot any more. The tough fibrin strands dissolve, and your blood takes back the platelets and cells of the clot. The process begins whenever flowing blood comes into contact with specific substances in your skin or in blood vessel walls. When they touch, it usually means the skin or blood vessel wall is broken. Waxy cholesterol plaques that form in arteries have these things inside, too. If the plaque breaks open, they'll start the clotting process.
